Home-Made Magic Reindeer Dust

Bring some magic into your house and your child’s heart with these hand-made christmas craft Reindeer Dust!

Help guide Santa and his reindeer’s to your chimney by sprinkling some magic reindeer dust on to the floor outside on Christmas Eve, the smell of the oats will guide the reindeer’s and the glitter will shine in the moonlight to help Santa find your house!

I made these little gifts not only for my own children but also for the children in school as they are low-cost and really are a beautiful little gift to give. They help keep the magic alive in their little hearts!

To make these you will need:

Polystyrene bags / organza bags

Ribbon

Paper to put the reindeer message on

Card

Oats

Glitter and christmas table confetti

Bells to decorate

Hole punch

Glue

Instructions:

Type/write your message onto the paper, stick it onto some backing card, we made ours to measure about 3cm x 7cm. Punch a hole in the top corner to thread the ribbon through.

Place a tablespoon of oats in a bag and sprinkle some glitter in side too, add some confetti but not too much.

Tie the bag up with some ribbon but don’t forget to tread through the ribbon, at this point you can add a bell aswell if you wanted to.
